News and notes...

Just a few odds and ends for you crazy Clipper fans:

Wednesday marks the beginning of the Westchester Open being played at Lake Isle Country Club. Andrey Boldarev is entered. Results will be posted when available.

Queens College (NY) coach Craig Schwartz is out in California participating in the Ojai Challenger. Craig is entered in the Qualifying Draw of the doubles with partner Michael Rubin. They will be taking on the #1 seeded partnership of Conor Pollock and Michael Venus tomorrow June 1st. Check back for results.

I am heavily hitting the recruiting these days. It is not going to be easy replacing Alex Grubin who essentially is irreplaceable...or is he? Stay tuned for signing announcements and to find out who your newest Clippers will be this fall.

  1. The "Magic Bus" ride or as Coach Simon calls it "The Concordia Fun Machine' was a very special trip. Several - too many to name made the ride truly memorable. I have been coaching since 1980 at Concordia and this is truly one of the Special Teams ! This team has it all. Nice guys, Talented Individuals, Hard workers, Good Students, Coachable Players... Greater than the sum of their parts ! As you can tell from this blog and all the Creative & Fun stuff Coach Dan has posted he is Bus Driver ! I am amazed at all the great stuff on this blog and all the people, from all the places, that have become involved in the journey ! The journey doesn't end here... this was a stop along the way...Miles to go... !
    Go CLIPPERS !!!
